Service Description

(HEB below) I am Yael Hovav, an artist and a painter. I am a graduate of the Bezalel Department of Art, have studied art in Germany and Scotland (MFA), and have a vast experience in teaching, including at Bezalel's preparatory program and Shenkar. I invite you to learn drawing\painting with me. Together, we will develop a common language through which we can approach drawing and painting. We will learn and practice concepts such as line drawing, tonality, light and shadow, perspective, alla prima, and more. We will sharpen our observational skills and experiment with various materials. The atmosphere will be personal and pleasant. It is important to me that you see improvement while also giving yourself space to experiment, and help you overcome any fear of expressing yourself with a pencil or brush. Learning drawing or painting is a bit like learning a language, and it's worthwhile to start chatting before mastering all the grammar. You can come for a short and focused period and together we will build a suitable program based on your time and budget, or you can choose to learn over an extended period and delve deeper into the process.
